From September 23rd till 24th, the German National Agency for Adult Education, Nationale Agentur beim Bundesinstitut für Berufsbildung (NABIBB) in cooperation with Europäische Erwachsenenbildung in Deutschland and EPALE – Adult Learning in Europe, has organized a special conference under the topic “#LifeSkills – The Future of Adult Education?”.
CGE Erfurt e.V. was invited to present the ongoing project “Think Social”. Together with the Erfurt partner IWM GmbH, the project consortium representatives had the chance to talk about the need for learning opportunities among migrant adults, especially women, in regards to digital skills and entrepreneurial competencies. These life skills are extremely important in the current competitive labor market and when taught properly can make big difference in the life of a migrant community.
Think Social – Promoting Social Entrepreneurial Mindsets project aims to encourage and enable disadvantaged groups of adults or adults with fewer opportunities, such as migrants, refugees, asylum seekers, low-skilled or low-qualified with the main focus on women to foster the social entrepreneurship idea and spirit in their local and at the EU level through the exchange of good practices and the adoption of innovative digital strategies.
